UNLOADING AND PARKING THE TRAILER
In most cases, your animals will be arriving in a pick up truck pulling a 14 foot stock trailer. However, depending on the size of the event and number of animals required, we could be using two trucks and trailers or one truck with a 24 foot trailer.
We must be able to pull right up to the site (or as close as possible within 20 feet) where the animals will be located for the event. After unloading, we will remove the truck and trailer to a parking location that must be within easy walking distance in the event that we must remove an animal and return (zoo animals must be carried in most cases) them to the trailer.

SURFACE
Grass is the preferred surface for both the petting zoo and ponies. It must NOT have been treated in the past 7 days with any fertilizer or insecticides. Please ensure that there are no ant mounds in the area as well.
If grass is not possible and we must set up on an alternate surface, we must know in advance. Slick concrete is not an option. Street concrete or asphalt surfaces are okay, but slick garage surfaces or stained concrete indoors is too slick for for the animals to walk on. There must also not be any loose gravel on the surface.
When setting a petting zoo up on a concrete surface, we will use shavings as the bedding/ground cover. There is an additional fee of $175.00 for the bedding and additional clean up time required. We will remove all animal waste and sweep up the shavings, however we strongly recommend that you follow up with a thorough hosing of the area.
Again, we must know in advance if the surface is not grass, as we will need to make adjustments in the type of fencing, and methods of securing fencing, tents, and carousels for safety purposes.

WATER
We will need to know in advance if we will have close access to a water hose for the animals. In the summer, we go through alot of water! If the event is longer than 2 hours and we must provide our own water, there is an additional fee of $50.00.
